1964 Chevrolet Impala Wagon

An incredible labor of love born from the dream of a passionate and patient man. This 1964 Chevrolet Impala 9-passenger station wagon was acquired by the consigner in 2005. He then spent 12 long years patiently accumulating a plethora of NOS parts and an original '64 409 engine to build the 1964 wagon of a lifetime. The professional restoration was carried out from 2017 to 2019, and then this fine automobile received AACA Junior and Senior awards in Hershey, PA. (2019 & 2020). This Chevy is finished in a factory-correct “905” Meadow Green with a “936” Ermine White roof. It has a correct, completely rebuilt, 1964 409/340hp 4-barrel V8 engine that has been stamped to match for authenticity purposes, correct Muncie M-20 4-speed manual transmission, and a 3.70 Posi-traction rear end. The car was not originally equipped this way but correct parts were used to make it as authentic as possible. It is equipped with everything imaginable! Factory in-dash air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power bench seat, power tailgate, 3rd-row seating, AM/FM radio with rear speaker, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, factory tachometer, factory roof rack, padded dash, tissue dispenser, four-way flashers, vent shades, deluxe floor mats, door-edge guards, rear mud flaps, trailer hitch, gas-door guard, side moldings and front bumper guards. It is doubtful that one could find another example this fine, this highly optioned and with this drivetrain. A one-in-a-million car! Extensive receipts and photos of restoration included in the sale.
