1951 Ford Country Squire

Run Day - Saturday June 1, 2024

This 1951 Ford Country Squire Wagon was one of 29,017 produced with just 144 known left in existence. This wagon was part the private collection of Yesteryear's Museum fully restored in 2007 by the former president of Classic Thunderbird Club International Amos Minter of Dallas, TX. It is equipped with the 239ci V8 engine (just rebuilt Dec 2023) and automatic transmission. Additionally this car features Ford 9” rear end with 3.25 gears (for highway speeds), aluminum manifold with Ford Holley 4 barrel carburetor, custom performance dual exhaust with chrome tailpipe tips, all new glass and weatherstipping, correct interior including carpet and wood door panels and correct Coker wide white wall tires and hubcaps. 1951 was the first year for the automatic transmission and the last year of real hardwood trim with the tailgate mounted spare tire. This Wagon also has the period correct roof rack with matching surfboard and period correct 'old-school' surfing stickers. This beauty has come out a winner at every show it has been entered in. Purchase will include books, manuals and photos of the car.
