1988 Acura Integra

Now here's one you definitely don't see everyday; especially with this provenance and in this fully original condition. This fine 1988 Acura Integra RS hatchback was purchased at Acura Utah by a Mr. Craig Blanchard in December of '88, and remained in his loving care until it was donated to the Utah Food Bank in the spring of 2021 (w/ 25,057 original miles). The lucky 2nd owner immediately serviced the vehicle thoroughly, replacing the timing belt, power steering belt, alternator belt, valve cover gaskets, spark plug tube seals, both cam seals, front crankshaft seal, in addition to having a brake fluid flush and coolant change performed. Another neat point about this car is that it was sold new as a “radio delete” model, and the original Acura-badged cover plate is still with the vehicle! In its place now is an early-90's Acura factory head unit that features an auxiliary input. The original window sticker reveals the following standard factory equipment: 1.6L DOHC/16-valve 4-cylinder engine (w/programmed fuel injection), a 5-speed manual transmission, power rack-and-pinion steering, front and rear stabilizer bars, 4-wheel power disc brakes, rear window defroster, tinted glass, full interior carpeting, Moquette-tricot upholstery, tilt steering wheel, flow-through ventilation system, remote fuel-door release, remote hatchback release, split fold-down rear seats, dual remote side mirrors, retractable headlights, and more. In addition, this particular model was slightly upgraded at the dealership with the Protection Package, which consisted of floor mats, rear mud guards, etc., and it was dressed with a $75 appearance package (AKA a pinstripe). The car currently has 26,979 actual miles, and all of the paint, upholstery, interior surfaces, and drivetrain appear to be original to the vehicle. Significant original documentation is included with the sale, including the original window sticker and owner's manual, inspection sheet, copy of Utah Title ('21 transfer), original insurance form, recent service receipts for work performed, and a clean current carfax.
