Virgil Exner co-designed this Art-Deco masterpiece, the 1935 Studebaker Dictator 2A Phaeton. The original Australian coachwork is mated to its original US, South Bend, Indiana drivetrain and chassis. It is equipped with the 6 cylinder "L-head" engine that produces 88hp with the original Stromberg carburetor mated to a 3 speed manual transmission with Syncromesh. This Dictator also has 4 wheel "steeldraulic" brakes, Autolite ignition and the new for '35 Independent Planar Wheel Suspension. This fine example appears to have the "Regal" package which includes freewheeling, startix, dual windshield wipers and dual tail lights. Finished in a beautiful Bordeaux Red color with Camel-colored leather interior and a khaki soft-top this jewel is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
