1947 Cadillac Fleetwood

This big, black and beautiful 1947 Cadillac 60 Special Fleetwood is an unrestored and mostly original example. It has been certified as a “Full Classic” by the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA). The interior is all original, including the instrument gauges, headliner, door panels, faux-wood grain dash, door trim, seat coverings and all the floor mats (including the so-called “hog hair” front mats). Under the long and elegant hood is the original V8 engine which has been totally rebuilt, as was the original Hydramatic 4-speed clutchless transmission. The AM radio, backup light, headlights, tail lights, fog lights, windshield washer and wipers all function as they should. All exterior chrome is original to the car and in very good condition. The original black lacquer paint has been removed and the body was stripped down to bare metal and then lovingly and carefully refinished in a single-stage, epoxy-hardened black enamel paint.
