1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL

This 1964 Ford Galaxie is one of the nicest ones to be found, with 68,726 actual miles. This fine example is equipped with the 390ci high-performance “Police Interceptor” engine and Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Additionally, this car left the factory with power windows, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, 2-speed wipers w/ washer, rocker panel mouldings, bucket seats w/ console, fender skirts, interior trunk release and whitewall tires. Then, the car was outfitted with a plethora of options at the dealership (Ream Motor Co. Madison, KS.) Fog lights, front and rear bumper guards, Dual side mirrors, spotlight, Ford Select-Aire “knee knocker” air conditioner, Ford trash bin and a Ford glovebox vanity mirror. Also of note, this Galaxie 500XL is a 2002 AACA Senior Award Winner and 2003 Old Dominion Award Winner. Documentation includes original window sticker, owner's manual and pamphlets, Ford ID card, and ownership history from the early 80s.
