1964 Chevrolet Impala SS

This absolutely exquisite 1964 Chevrolet Impala is a true SS\409 4-speed car. It has resided in Pennsylvania since the day it was purchased. It was delivered to Thomas Chevrolet in Bedford, PA., and since 1964, the car has only accumulated 32,892 actual miles. This Impala still wears most of its factory-application of Palomar Red over an entirely original Ivory vinyl interior. The original numbers-matching drivetrain is present and consists of a “QC” coded 340hp\4-barrel engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The car was built in the Baltimore factory, and retains the original factory SS hubcaps, original Ivory “Star” headliner, original fender skirts, original spare tire, and factory floor mats. This car is all about exhilarating speed and the pure joy of driving, being modestly equipped with a Delco AM radio (with rear speaker and single rear antenna), bucket seats w/console, factory tachometer (mounted on the driver-side dash), and seat belts. This has to be one of finest mostly original examples of its kind remaining in the world! Do not miss it! Remnants of an original broadcast sheet, original owner's manual, change of ownership letter from the '70s, as well as a few pieces of Chevrolet promotional ephemera are all included in the sale.
