1951 Packard 300

This 1951 Packard 300, four-door sedan, is a rare example of a seldom seen make and model in very good original condition. It is powered by Packard's smooth Thunderbolt Straight Eight, 327ci engine producing 150HP horsepower; one of the largest engines made by any manufacturer in 1951 mated to Packard's two-speed Ultramatic transmission. Additional equipment and options include original drum brakes in excellent working order, new bias-ply wide whitewall tires installed in 2020 provide outstanding limousine-quality ride, all original interior that is very presentable with excellent original headliner and the radiator was re-cored in 2021. The engine and transmission have both been rebuilt by previous owner who was a lifelong Packard collector. A repaint was also done at that time and is still very presentable. Currently owned by the third owner; registered, roadworthy and driven regularly. Only 15,000 produced, only a few hundred of this year, make, and model remain registered anywhere. The car runs, shifts, drives and stops well. An original exterior sun visor, a rare optional accessory, will be included with the sale.
