1954 Cadillac Eldorado
The Eldorado Special model came into existence as a limited-edition Cadillac late in the 1953 production year. Only about 500 were made in '53, and so technically, 1954 was the first full-production year for this storied American automobile. Only 2,150 Eldorado Specials were produced in 1954, and this is a wonderful example. It is finished in its correct factory color, code “18” Alpine White, with a matching factory-correct code “38” two-tone Red leather interior. Recently, a beautiful Burgundy canvas soft top was installed on the vehicle. Under the hood, is the correct 4-barrel V8 engine connected to an automatic transmission. This is an actual-mile car, showing 102,457 miles on the odometer. It is a very nicely equipped Eldorado, featuring power steering, power brakes, power windows, power top, AM radio, heater/defroster, E-Z-Eye glass, Autronic Eye, deluxe vertical/horizontal power seat, parade boot, chrome wire wheels, wide whitewall tires, and exclusive Eldorado trim & badging. A stunning mid-century General Motors convertible that epitomizes the “Golden Era” of post-war America!
