1970 Buick Gran Sport Stage 1 Convertible
This 1970 Buick GS Stage 1 convertible is 1 of only 67 produced with a 4-speed manual transmission and the only known example finished in Glacier White with Burnished Saddle interior and a black convertible top. It was purchased new from South Shore Buick of Quincy, Massachusetts. Not only was the car ordered with the M-20 transmission, the original owner ordered the "F41" suspension, special shocks, power steering, Soft-Ray tinted windshield, sport steering wheel, power windows and more, verifiable on the window sticker. After receiving a no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration, the car was awarded the High-point Concours Gold award (scoring 991/1000) at the Muscle Car and Corvette National Awards, and, it also earned the Judge's Choice as the Best Buick in Show. Accompanying documentation includes the original maintenance folio with owner's manual, a booklet of extensive service-history, known ownership history since new, copies of previous titles, the original dealership trunk-lid emblem, Sloan Museum paperwork, Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals Awards and judging papers.
